Telescopic loaders.
This type of forklift is mainly used when you need to move the load to a significant height, which is beyond the reach of a standard front loader. Moreover, the telescopic loader both has all the features of a front loader (compactness and maximum mobility) and has the advantages of a full-fledged crane. The telescopic loader has an extendable boom, which is mounted on a rectangular rigid chassis with wheels that are placed on the corners. Hence the name of this class of loader. The telescopic loader is fitted with a swinging front axle and a fixed rear axle, all of which gives the machine a sure footing and there is no need for outriggers or supports.
In cases when the loader can not cope, a truck crane is used, often rented, for example as a Liebherr rental. The peculiarity of such loaders is that they provide the ability to work with numerous variations of different attachments. This feature makes telescopic loaders universal machines, which in addition to the standard moldboards and forks, can also attach a bucket for cement or other materials, a lifting platform, a crane-beam with a hydraulic winch or a specially designed device for accelerated transplantation of plantings.
Front loaders.
This class of loaders includes high-performance machines, which with a simple design have transportability, high maneuverability and mobility. The scope of application of front wheel loaders is as follows: earthmoving, loading and unloading and construction and installation work in civil, industrial, road construction, as well as agriculture.
The intensity and versatility of loaders is determined by the variety of attachments with which the work is done. Additional abilities of loaders are: towing trailers or other equipment for short distances and transportation of cargo in grabs or bucket. Dimensions and weight of front loaders are smaller than those of excavators, but they are able to work with much larger loads, and in a small area, because they are more maneuverable. It is these advantages that determine the scope of their use.
