Powerful and at the same time maneuverable LIEBHERR LTM 1160 perfectly copes with lifting massive concrete blocks and slabs to the required height. It is not rational to use this truck crane in usual loading and unloading works, for these purposes it is better to order less powerful machines. The second most popular among truck cranes with increased lifting capacity is KRUPP KMK 6200. It also finds its wide application on construction sites for serious work. American designers from Manitowoc Corporation offered their brainchild - GROVE GMK 5220 - to the market of lifting cranes. It is not the most powerful machine of this series, but still its technical characteristics are impressive. The crane can lift 220 tons of cargo to a height of up to 70 meters without any problems, and with a boom extension - up to 110 meters.
Renting a truck crane allows you to use it for lifting oversized loads on large-scale construction sites, for unloading containers, as well as in the work of laying pipes and communications. The next in this series is the GROVE GMK 6220L mobile crane. This machine has only a few mechanical changes. Technical parameters practically do not differ from those of the GROVE GMK 5220. Therefore, this technique is also used in construction, and in those works where the tower crane does not cope with the task. The next in the series of heavyweights is a truck crane LIEBHERR LTM 1500.
The technical characteristics of this machine are surprising, but it is better to rent it when long-term construction works are planned. The fact is that the rental fee for LIEBHERR truck cranes is always an order of magnitude higher, and ordering them for a couple of days is often pointless and unjustified. And, finally, the most powerful among the previous models is recognized as a truck crane GROVE GMK 6300. This tractor is able to lift a load weighing up to 300 tons to a height of up to 110 meters. Perhaps, such characteristics will not leave indifferent more than one serious construction company.
