Today almost every construction company has a truck crane at its disposal. Whether it is its own or rented unit of equipment, Russian equipment or German Liebherr LTM series equipment, in case of its failure, the crane operator has to eliminate many malfunctions on site.
One of such malfunctions includes insufficient speed of crane operations. In this case, the machine works only with small loads. A possible cause of the malfunction may be a leak in the hydraulic system. In this case, the sealing rings must be replaced. If the cause is a misadjustment of the motor control drive, the crane operator must adjust the drive after checking its speed.
Increased leakage in the hydraulic motor can also cause deterioration of the crane's performance. In such a situation, the pump (hydraulic motor) should be replaced. Obvious malfunctions in the operation of the truck crane include failure to perform the operation when turning the winch control handle to the operating state. If the cause of the malfunction lies in a violation of the brake adjustment, it must be adjusted. If when checking the valve BH1, the crane operator notices that it is not closed, the valve is closed with a key.
